ARTIST STATEMENT
Metal called metal that exist around us are made by mining minerals that exist in nature, removing impurities, and refining and molding them. The surface of metal made by that way is a very unstable state for the metal, it is always trying to get back into state of rust (= mineral = natural objects). We have the impression that metals are hard and closed seemingly, but on the surface fluidity and time flowing in the material appear. It gives me a certain sense of distance between me and the material. And that sense of distance will cause the awe for nature. Shapes and scenery appear at the boundary between one's consciousness and the consciousness of the material (=one's unconsciousness), by drawing various emotions from it I create works that reminds the viewer of their primitive feelings about the material.
