From the owner
Sato Shizue's production concept "Spinning days with glass"
Utilizing the characteristics of shrinking and stretching by the heat of the glass, the mesh she draws forms.
The mesh has gravity and shape restrictions, but it also captures it and expresses beauty in fragility.
According to Sato, the production process is "a meditative act of self-exploration, and the production is like spinning glass at a glance."
There is no concrete motif of the work, and it expresses her own inner shape.
What do you imagine from seeing her work? It offers us that freedom and evokes deeply sunk memories.
